• "Fun & Frivolity After 50",
a humorous and informative talk by Denice Wheeler, 9:30 am at Rendezvous Pointe (the new senior center at 425 E. Magnolia, Pinedale). Come get all those excuses dispelled - why you're depressed, unhappy about aging, etc., etc.! This talk will appeal to all ages and provide information for a lifetime of fun. Part of Rendezvous Pointe's Open House Week celebrations.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 24
• Rendezvous Pointe Senior Citizens' Center Grand Opening,
6 pm, 425 E. Magnolia (behind Faler's in Pinedale). Begins with a dinner and variety show, open to advance ticket holders only. Tickets for this part of the grand opening cost $15 and are available at Office Outlet, the Cowboy Shop, and Hi-Country Senior Center. An admission-free dance for all ages, with music by Valdez & Co., will follow the dinner.

• "Snowboarding Down Everest" Slide Show, 7 pm, Pinedale Library. Presentation by Stephen Koch, extreme snowboarder. Koch will discuss his attempt to snowboard the north face of Everest, part of his project to snowboard the highest mountain on each continent. Everyone welcome, free admission.
