FREE presentation by Chavawn Kelley of Laramie, Wyoming Council for the Humanities Speakers Bureau. Alfred Jacob Miller visited this area in 1837 and painted the Wind River Mountains and the Green River Rendezvous. Kelley will discuss Miller’s experiences and will show slides of his paintings. Green River Valley Land Trust Board President Tucker Smith will introduce Ms. Kelley, and will share his thoughts on the connections between art, landscapes, and land conservation.
